Guest
well, when i was nine i didn't know anything about that either. i don't think that that is very important for a nine year old boy to know those things.
kamui
Says flyonzewall: well, when i was nine i didn't know anything about that either. i don't think that that is very important for a nine year old boy to know those things. Since it seems that nowadays the kids start to have sex much earlier than a two or three decades ago, it might be better not to wait until the kids are fourteen. Guest
I think you should take the lad fishing or some likewise 'male' bonding venue and point out some of the 'birds and bees' to him. Let the women teach their daughters. IMO
anonymouse
I feel sure that at 9 years old I had some idea what was going on - that's 28 years ago so maybe I'm wrong! He's an intelligent kid so I'm sure he will work it all out sometime soon.

Hidy Ho
We're about same age and I didn't know fuck all when I was nine. If I recall, I was more like 11 or 12 years old when I found this book at my Aunt's house that explained the birds and the bees - very enlightening and fascinating moment, if I recall. I asked one of my Thai friend (educated but originally from 101) how he learned about sex and he said "from watching movies, of course"!!! :hubba: Not hard-core flicks but typical HK flicks that can give a general idea.
