I just want to know which of them is readily available at bars and is best for drinking on ice with coke or soda. I don't care if it is or tastes like rum. Thanks. For example: Spey Royal, Crown and 100 Pipers. They come with a favourable price tag and do the trick just as good as the high priced imports. If you had the un-luck of having been sold fake spirits (as for example pirated JW Black which is not that uncommon) it can even get worse. Only one of those mentioned which I tried was Mekhong/Coke, and I thought it went down pretty smooth mixed that way. Anyway, the price was right. You just have to have a few more than usual.
