On BBC World I've just seen a report on the mass destruction of the Amazon Rain Forest partly due to Europeans wanting GM free Soya Beans that are grown here hence smashing the forest to bits. GM Soya is grown in the USA. Why should the Amazon suffer because of the fickleness of Euros??--Cant find the article on the WWW :dunno:

Hey,

why should I eat GM soy beans or soy bean products?

If the producers go back to grow GM-free soy beans there'll be no problems.

That's not anti-american, don't get me wrong.

But stop making me responsible for that part of destroying the tropical rain forest. I don't take that from amaricans anyway. Demand the US government to stick to the Kyoto protocol and international treaties they signed.
