Steve
Had to drive to a relative's in Tarzana (LA area members would know this area) and could smell the smoke in the air. Wow! Where I live I'm not threatened (only by the occasional homeless asking for spare change) by the fire. But if so, I'd get passport, hardrive on computer, legal docs, my Arsenal shirt, and if i had time, the week before i'd replace my furniture with expensive antiques that i could borrow from a store or where ever, take the pics and bring them back and give the insurance company the pics and get paid! use the money to go to LOS.
