whosyourdaddy
Yes will do that. Still needed him to set up the network printer but he refused to help me. I checked my laptop this AM and saw he deleted all my anti virus /firewall software off my computer. Bastard. I was going to let it go and not rock the boat. but this is the same guy who caused me to have to reformat my harddrive last month and I am pissed. But unfortunately the Admin are non computer geeks and dont realize what a vialation it is to have someone messing up with your computer.
jigger
Some of the more unsophisticated firewalls simply look at the URL. If that is a problem for people, we could create an alternate name. The more sophisticated versions look at the IP address, and compare it to a database of adult sites; those are harder to fool... stumpy
Gummy, are you saying that the network owner can see where I surf even if I use a service like Idzap with a SSL?
adikgede
What your local admin would be able to see is that you are using a proxy. h++ps://member.idzap.com/dsahkllkjdsafjlkads It all depends on your relationship with your employer. They might want to know what it is you have to hide. I had a summer job where we had to try to qualify peoples usage habits. The way it worked was this. If a workstation records a lot of traffic to a particular address or a range of predefined addresses a report would be generated. The report would indicate a number of websites and some information about the job role of the user visiting those sites. My job was to visit the sites, answer a few questions about the content on a form and see if there was any remote linkage between the employees job roll and the sites content. This was something that they hadn't automated yet, but the work that I doing was also being used to develop a data base about frequently accessed web site. Ultimatley the content mattered less than it being related or not related to work and how much time someone was keeping from themselves from work. In other words someone who habitually spends five hours a week shopping online was much more likely have their report escalated than someone who looks at a few porno pics during the course of the day. We did have people using encrypted proxie services, however I wasn't looking at those because you cant actually review the content. Nonetheless my boss said that they can usually gather some info about what the content of encrypted pages is based upon the size of pages and the click frequency. Everyones situation is different. The place I worked in was medium to large (less than 1000 employees) and the primary motivation to monitor network usage was not to snoop, but rather to keep in eye on a fairly expensive resource and see that it wasn't being waisted. OCgringo
one of the other websites has a "stealth mode" button on the top right corner, if you see the boss coming click that button and a "work" looking page comes up Good if the boss thinks your main reason to be there is to actually work ! TEEN SEX, ANIMAL SEX, JAPANESE SEX, JAPANESE TEEN SEX, THAI SEX and a few music videos. made a hard copy of the print screen and had a witness verify that they saw it. kamui
By the way, another way to surf anonymously is using JAP (Java anon proxy). In became famous in Germany when federal police raided their office recently to get some ISP addresses, but they could not find anything.
