gregchambers
Reading another thread I just had this thought - get all the girls to throw their AIS SIMS away and buy DTAC - these gals spend a small fortune on mobile calls, way more than most Thais and it would take a huge chunk out of Thaksin's family's loose change

pattaya127
That would imply they have any idea that they could take action to change what the gvnmt decides and rules. I have been with thais who like theit night outs late, and surely the subject of the closing hour came up. they deplore it, but not one had the kind of words agains it that we have had here, about social order, Thaksin, loss of tourism, etc..... They're used to being told what to do, it never prevented them to use their great pragmatic sense to work around the rules. It's been the way in Asia for the past 2000 years. No democracy but plenty of liberty-taking.
