Guest Posted March 16, 2004 Report Share Posted March 16, 2004 Thinking about it more, my wife joined the ten pin bowling ladies league and this mainly consisted of western women...By dealing with them socially, she got to understand how they'worked' and felt more confident in a non- Thai society! Therefore, if you joined a club (cricket / footy / rugby) and she meet some of the wifes then she may feel more confident ........Maybe the both of you playing in a mixed tennis league may help? That way you can help ease her in to the group and it won't be so daunting task for her..... A lot of Thais like badminton.....What about a badminton club in Sydney? SB. My preferred method is to ask the girl to take a walk with me in the oppressive heat and humidity of a BKK afternoon(a true test of love). Usually after about 1 kilometer she can't keep up, she hails a taxi and I never see her again. Thai chicks and walking just don't seem to work out.
