the Toulon Tournament.

 

32nd Anniversary of the Tournament.

started in 1967 by a Frenchmen who wanted to promote Youth Football and was meant for under 21 Players.

in 1968,UEFA took umbrage and formed the official UEFA under 21 Championships.

8 Teams are picked and the Organisers look for 4 European Teams,2 from South America,1 from Africa and 1 from Asia.

Tournament is a friendly one and totally different from the Official UEFA Championships.
