Hopefully the ignorant ones will learn from this advice.

 

I cringe when I hear of a--holes giving 2-3k . ::

 

I now already see big changes in attitude and many

 

refusing to go for a lesser price, due the abundance of

 

at times found ignorant overpayers that are easy prey!

 

Before long I'm afraid there will be no value to be had here

 

as once was found due these ignorant ones. Then the only

 

attraction then be the kind people and cultural tourist

 

spots worth having a look.

Supply and demand rule here as in most places. The average wage is irrelevant.

I am afraid you may be demonising the wrong devil here.....while it is true that prices are rising ( albeit quite slowly and often offset by exchange rate fluctuations), this is probably due to the wider mix of costs/income the women are subject to...In my experience Bangkok doesn't have to be a super cheap city any longer ( though it just about can be if you try real hard)..and many of them do swim in Bangkok waters IMHO
