Pescator
Hi JB, That must have been Koh Mook to the south of Koh Lanta at the "Tham Morakot". Emerald Cave. Pretty awesome! I was there too 10 years ago while staying at Koh Lanta. When the boat driver anchored in front of this massive rock face, I was wondering why the Heck we stopped here. I had no idea what was coming. I believe it is pretty famous by now, at least I read in a travel magazine while in Thailand how the author was complaining about his little private spots were being overrun :: I am pretty sure that it is not a collapsed volcano but instead what the thais refer to as a Hong. A collapsed cave. Plenty of those in this general area. There is one almost exactly like it on Phra Nang beach in Krabi, Sra Phra Nang, only this one you have to access by climbing a steep rocky trail first.
