Guest Posted December 1, 2001 Report Share Posted December 1, 2001 Hi all, my two baht worth....last time in Vientiane, one year ago, agree very lovely, cheap hotel, great food, people, butttt the commies were ruining the sanuk.....had to be very discreet with the ladies....one nite came back to hotel and the desk manager flatly said cannot take lady to room, not bribeable....ended up going to short time place wayyyyy out of town, kind of spooky, girls ducking down, when we would go by police-REALLY(its was then a big illegal deal to go with girls)! Next day the manager appologized said it was a big problem for him etc....maybe you guys have new info on this??? I love Cambodia, but check out Siem Reap instead of PP....more laid back, beautiful, friendly women and cheap hotels, Angkor is magnificent too!!
