INTJ
Hi, I need a cheap old laptop, primarily for internet. A P3 500 or similar would suffice. Can anyone recommend somewhere in BKK or Pattaya with a decent selection ? Looking around the 10,000 mark. Is this realistic ? Any particular brands to stay clear of (ie. expensive repairs) ? Oh, and it must be able to play DVD's. Also, anyone selling one ? Many thanks. INTJ.

gene1944
IT Mall at Fortune Hotel has several shops that sell used laptops. Might give it a try. It is also very close to the new subway line.

INTJ
Hi, When you say "Fortune" are you referring to the hotel/Tesco complex where Ratchadaphisek meets Rama IX ? Thanks. INTJ
whosyourdaddy
Might want to try an ECS laptop. 1/2 the price of other ones. It uses desktop components instead of laptop. The screen is very good and speed is very good. No internal Battery and dont even think about buying the piece of shit external battery. But for a quick pick me up computer that you can plug into it is recommended
MooNoi
Hi Gene. Which subway station is it closest to? Thanks, FlyP
gene1944
Subway stops right in front of the Fortune Hotel/Tesco at Rama 9 and Asok (or Rachada as I think it is called at that point). The subway station name is Phra Rama 9. If you use it before Aug 12 (the Queens B'day) you pay only 10 baht on the subway.
