You can arrange in advance to have a taxi waiting for you at the airport. That's what those guys with signs with people's names on them are doing. Last time I did it, a few weeks ago, cost was 1000 baht, plus 155 baht tolls and 20 baht or so airport parking. There are several services: by email; khrongfa@ego.co.th or calling, in advance, on +66 38 716528, +66 38 423067, +66 1575 6754, +66 1694 6139 These above guys usually have nice fairly new vehicles. Another service I have used is: Dang Transport & Travel Agency: email ja_jar24@hotmail.com telephone 06-0904718, 09-0355897. Cars were older, but the pickups have always been reliable. Btw, with this service the trip going the other way (p to bkk) is only 800 baht plus tolls.

Mr T the Taximan (soi Diana Inn opp Areca Hotel) will pick up at airport any time. Cost me 1050 to Pattaya incl tolls a few weeks ago. Very reliable.

He doesn't take net bookings anymore having been let down too many times.

eee said:Thanx a million guys. Always come through for me. Although I didn't get much info on the "are there porn shops in thailand?" in another thread. WELL ? thanx I just want to buy some, you know, toys!!! eee
I think we did help there! Although it was not much help. There are no porn shops (out in the open) in Thailand. One has to ask around in the night markets (Patpong is the best choice) to try to find some. As with any illegal establishment, the shops move around, so what is true today may not be true next week. Sorry if it is not what you want to hear, but it is all we can offer!

Cheers,

SD
