I'm not anti-monarchy - I actually believe that she does a good job - but I would like to see the rest of the House of Windsor behave themselves in a manner befitting royalty. thai3 Posted February 1, 2005 Report Share Posted February 1, 2005 Although fashionable to dis the great lady people forget that the Barroness did more for the working class in this country than all those self serving unions she helped to curb.I refer to the right to buy which ended in hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people having assets today they would otherwise have never been able to save in a lifetime.You would have thought wealth sharing would have been a socialist ideal, and guess what labour have just announced a similar revamped policy,well well.
