Both had a lot of baggage to shake, particularly Anderson, after years onscreen in B-grade roles. When I first realised that 'MacGyver' was going to be Jack O'Neill in Stargate, I didnt know whether to laugh or cry, but there is a lot to be said for giving an aging actor one last shot at the 'big time'.
