A very upsale Hi-So lady that lives in my building after asking me who I would vote for in the US Presidential Elections stated wit a straight face Kao mee na maw-Na nawn kao peah- (sorry dont have Thai script) He has a dog face. Sure to lose. I frequently question the base intelligence of many people in LOS(and the entire world for that matter) from the top to the bottom-Thats a statement sure to please... ::

bibblies
Maybe Thais want to vote for a winner? (As in, they don't want to be associated with failed candidates.)
thai3
I forgot the GF hates the bloke, says he's corrupt to the core and that in her part of the country they get 300 baht each to vote for him. samak
last two nights i asked many BG's in Patpong, Soi Cowboy and Washington Square about this election. of course majority did not go to vote. however from those who went, ALL (with one exception from Suphanburi voted of course for Banharn's Chart Thai) voted for TRT!!! arguments were very convincing (Chorb! Khon dee!). when i argued, that they are responsible for early bar closing, i just heard: mai pen rai, good as they need to work less etc.
