Donut Posted March 6, 2005 Author Report Share Posted March 6, 2005 Hi BB- thank you- after Carlsberg pulled out of LOS, I have to drink heineken, which in my opinion is like water with beer taste... or English beer wich in my humble opinion is milk with beer taste.. Hmmmm, I attended a statutory meeting of a heartpatients association at the Artois brewery festivities hall in Leuven. They serves Stella and hoegaarden before, during and after the meeting. I wonder how most heartpatients present managed to find their beds... Anyway, that was excellent Stella I drunk there. It is sad though that Interbrew, who owns Artois breweries bought all the Leuven breweries. When I was a kid there were at least 10 breweries in Leuven. One was Breda who brewed Peterman a famous Leuven beer; a trouble, sweet blond beer not unsimilar to Hoegaarden.
