Khun_Kong
NNeo- The box had 1 corner wrinkled pretty badly. Didn't even open it for about 2 weeks. The monitor wouldn't come on, just made a clicking noise. Took it into the shop at Panthip about 3 months later. Was there when they opened it up- found the broken pieces inside the monitor, then the broken tube. Didn't even bother trying to claim at that point, just wrote it off as another time I procrastinated and it cost me. :grrr: Hard enough to get fucking FF miles outta United! Old Hippie
As I said, they most likely will/would not insure anything in a cardboard box, except for theft, even if it is the original box.
Rex7777
Don't forget to look at the LCD tvs. Prices on those are dropping all the time. I'm in the USA and a few months ago I bought a 30" LCD TV for my bedroom. The HDTV looks great. Anyway, the thing was made in China and cost a little over $1000. By this time next year you'll probably be able to buy a 42" LCD tv for that price. Rex
