Mentors
I have checked today and was surprised that still more than 1100 farangs/tourists are still missing after the Tsunami in Thailand. http://www.phuketgazette.com/classifieds/show.asp?TypeQuery=7&page=1&limit=75&ref=200539185432
Sukhumvit
There was a report in UK media yesterday that the body of a 34 year old woman from Staffordshire had just been located. Dunno if it was from a mass grave or uncovered by sea/land.
Old Hippie
I was on Khao San road a few weeks ago (hate to admit that ) and the one end has all sort of pictures of missing people. there is one book labled "look if you have the stomach" or some such, the photos are of dead and unidentified people... iuytrede
the identification process is supposed to take several months (up to 6 months) so of course there are still people missing
limbo
Just got back from Kao Lak. It's devastated down there. Met a German woman who's looking for her sister, brother in law (Chinese) and their 9 year old son. Kao Lak is a ghost town. What's slightly unnerving is that all Thai attention is pointed on Phuket, although PhangNa (Kao Lak) is much harder hit.

limbo
Sad, isn't it? Met another surivor of Kao Lak today and he thinks the Thai official number of casualties is a joke.
