BBBJ and HIV ?

Neon Ninja

Recommended Posts

I'm sure this has been asked (probably on the old Delphi board.)

When I was in Thailand last year, I was extremely careful with condom usage while "doing the deed"; however when it came to BJ's I preferred not to use one.

Somebody mentioned that receiving BBBJ's was almost perfectly safe (as far as HIV/AIDS); and I think I read some FAQ on some HIV/AIDS site that said pretty much the same thing.

Curious to know what other more current/more reliable information anyone has on this...

I'm not trolling for an argument or anything, just looking for some current data.

Thanks...

Come on guys! Can't someone help out Neon Ninja? All I know is that the med tech that tested me said that oral on a guy is low risk for the guy. (By the way, I was asking in reference to my TG, who had a very lightly checkered past.)

No, I didn't have her checked. That's why I made the inquiry to the med tech AIDS test specialist.

I have some more AIDS test stories to share, once a less gravely serious related thread gets going. Mine are lighthearted and chuckle-filled. smile.gif" border="0

I don't know if this would work, but it's better than nothing.

For those who like to sanook without a rubber, rub in antiseptic cream before the deed.

Better than nothing, use it like lube.

I know one guy who used to throw a splash of dettol into the bath. I don't know if it did much but, he felt ok about it.

Neon Ninja -

Risk of HIV transmission via saliva is in fact much lower than by either vaginal or anal routes.

From what I understand, there's something in human saliva (possibly an enzyme) that makes it more difficult for the virus to locate, develop and replicate in the mouth. I think this is why we've all been told (informally) by health authorities that you can't contract the virus by kissing someone, etc. But you need to do some homework and read up on this yourself. I would try CDC's homepage first. There's no end to the information; just be sure to visit reliable sites.

But before you get too cocky, there is a caveat - if for any reason the girl has a fresh cut or open sore inside her mouth, the virus in her bloodstream could easily find its way right on to your unsuspecting member.

Still want that blowjob?

Next time think with your big head, not your little one, you dumb fuck! Only half-kidding, Ninja man. You need to be more careful having any kind of sex with these bar ho's. Another important thing to know about HIV/AIDS, a girl having fucked 1000 guys vaginally is actually SAFER to sleep with than a girl who had really freaky sex with 1 dude who bonked her in the butt. It's not the number of parners that matters. Rather, it's the type of sexual activity that takes place that makes viral transmission more likely to occur than others.

The whole Thailand sex scene totally fascinates me, because from what I gather from those who have indulged, it's every guy's dream fantasy come true. I soo wish I could have fun with these girls like that, but I'm deathly afraid of AIDS. So go easy out there, my brother!

Hey, good to see another FLA homeboy out there!

I think there is some misrepresentation of statistics going on. Anal intercourse is more likely to transmit HIV than vaginal intercourse. That is one statistic. The second statistic is the risk of one individual actually having HIV versus finding the virus in one thousand individuals.

I thought so, but wanted to double check.

Well, unless she's actually visibly bleeding from the mouth; I sure do!! smile.gif" border="0

Granted it seems that there is some chance, but I think it's an acceptable level of risk. (Probably riskier being a race car driver, but people still race cars.) "Doing the deed" without one would be very stupid and much higher risk, but it seems that the risk for getting blown is acceptable.

There's a risk that my plane could be hijacked and rammed into Baiyoke Tower II, but I'm still going next year! smile.gif" border="0

You're definately missing out, but keep in mind that there are risks for everything in life. Driving a car, flying in a plane, nowadays even opening the mail! As long as you can figure out what is an "acceptable risk" for you then go with it. But you are right, you can't catch it if you don't go...

Yeah, there's another one of us somewhere on here as well. Rather be in Thailand right now actually! smile.gif" border="0smile.gif" border="0

Basically I'm seeing where people are drawing the line on their levels of "acceptable risk" as far as BBBJ's go... and so far it seems that most posters (so far) have the same attitude I do regarding BBBJ's..

Thanks everyone for your input! Both the positive and negative!

From what I've read, HIV would be the least of your worries. There is still the risk of other STDS being transmitted orally, some of which could prove difficult to get rid of. My advice is to be careful, wash your area before and after, mouth wash for her, and a condom, but in the end it is your decision. Enjoy!

Old Hippie makes an excellent point. Yes, we all know about Aids and how certain activites are low risk for contracting the disease (e.g., BBBJ). But, remember that there are tens of other STDs out there which deserve to be taken into account when considering what activities to indulge in. There's no comparison between a BJ and a BJ while wearing a condom, but the small pleasure won't offset the nasties that can come about from doing anything without a nice layer of lubed latex coming between you, your bar girl, and the 1000+ men she's been with.
