drogon
Greetings I previously used my mobile phone with a european SIM card, but last time I found it quite expensive. I know there is a way to get thai SIM cards but I would like to know what tricks you use as to be able to phone in thailand? Also the prices and ways to get these solutions. thanks a lot
Redbaron
At MBK, and a hell of a lot of other places, you can buy a thai sim card... often from little booths around the place. They cost about 500B and include 2 or 300 B worth of calls. Calls (local) are cheap as chips this way. Top up using cards from 7/11 and such places.. I use 1 to Call I think. Hell of a lot cheaper than 'roaming' using European, or other services.

gummigut
Yah, no need to go to MBK. I wonder if there is any point in Thailand where you can't walk 1,000 meters and NOT be able to find a place to buy a sim card. That's just nuts! <<burp>>
