I am getting paranoid or I am stupid or both.

 

Using a loxinfo dial up. Normally no probs.

 

Last nigh it worked

 

But today can access some sites (like this) but not many sites;

 

so can get: the Nation and loxinfo + NP and google search worked + email works

 

Can not get bangkokpost, telegrapg.co.uk, the sun, cricifo, formuala1

 

It is almost as if somebody has set up a big filter.

This happened last week as well and suddenly it all worked. Happened to one of my guys but ADSL worked

I could go to office and try ADSL line but????

 

Internet seems much slower since a week ago last Sunday. Is there new filter progromme or something?

Hi,

 

We had this last week in the office, could not get our email or to any of our clients' sites.

 

Called KSC and the answer we got was that one of the international routers was fucked up (shifting the blame to CAT of course). Guessing that may be the problem for you as well?

Thanks it is flying now but all day was useless except for a few sites that made no sense as servers all over!

All the ISP's are pissed at CAT or "claim" to be. Oddly all the ISP's are also asking to get their own international gateways rather than using CAT's.

I find that 40% of the time I am getting a " network server problem : Timed out" page. When I hit retry it seems to work on some sites, others I can never see.

Yep. Very slow the last couple of weeks, and a lot of "timed" out messages. However, Skype seems to be working better than a month or two ago. Doesn't figure. In any case, more capacity in and out of Thailand would be welcomed by many.

 

Having them not go through CAT might make the censorship problem sa little more complicated, and maybe this is one reason why they are holding back.
