devalover
Hey all. Is it possible to find a quiet hotel room in Pattaya? The hotel can be totaly Dionysian... I just really need a room where I can shut the noise out.... since I am a light sleeper- and nothing kills a trip like trouble sleeping! So....anyplaces near the beach, near the action that are nice, not overly expernsive, and quiet? xo, Devalover
Dr. Cop
Devalover, If want some place quiet go to Vatican City, you are in Pattaya man, not to sleep. You can do that anytime... Near the beach is not quiet. Go about 2 miles inland away from the action and find a place. Good Luck !!!

Cumcannon
Any hotel on the north end should be quiet. Sabai Inn, Sabai Lodge, Welcome Inn are a few that come to mind. Sandy Springs is on soi 13. Reports of construction noise on that soi right now. Another popular, quieter one is the Areca Lodge on soi Diana and only a 3 or 4 minute bahtbus ride to Walking street. The noisiest hotels are on Walking st and on soi 7 and soi 8 which have lots of blaring music. There are many many hotels that are extremely quiet if you want to venture a bit away from the action. Residence Garden and the Dynasty Resort come to mind. I stayed at the Dynasty resort in July 2003 and it was very quiet and peaceful and had no problems back and forth to walking st. Zorro
If you drink enough and shag enough you should have no troubles sleeping. It is the waking up that is hard!
thalenoi
Yes it is possible. There is a large strip between soi 2 and 6 with plenty of quiet hotels, left and right of the Hard Rock hotel and right on the beach, altough most of you don't need to stroll the beach :hubba:
elef
Sabai Lodge and Inn are quiet but just the inside parts of the hotels, buildings along Soi 2 are not quiet.

liquidflux
I'll second the Dynasty Resort. Cool place up on the hill and very quiet. Nice rooms and staff too.
