asiafun
I took a look at the calendar and found that there were just some B-days posted. Are there any significant events at establishments in BKK and Pattaya during that month...other than Christmas of course.
limbo
Dec 5th is the Kings birthday. Dec 10th is Constitution Day. All bars are closed those days.
samak
bars are for sure closed on King's birthday, which is also the national holiday. no so sure about constitution day; used to be open normally at that day but with current social crackdown... but certainly not so much enforced than on King's birthday

Mentors
under thread "Thai Public Holidays 2005 - bars may be shut" KS write, the bars will be oüen at 10th December? Now, what is correct? it's important for me to know that, so i do not have to do a stop over in Bkk on 10th Dec.

I was out there last week (Pattaya) for Budhist Lent, all bars were supposed to be shut from 6pm onwards, but a lot stayed open, just no music and lighting was minimal. They would also ask you to pay for the beer as you ordered it, i.e. no checkbin
