What pisses me of is that Macca and Starfucks charge more but the thai places have all dropped there prices. Didn;t seem to be a problem, and as its a large sprawling hotel/resort with more than a few entrances easy to smuggle in/. thalenoi Posted September 10, 2005 Report Share Posted September 10, 2005 Not breaking the bank, try Phuket Palace, stayed there last week for 800 baht breakfast inclusive, lousy lobby but nice large rooms with sitting area 3.6x10m and large balcony, great swimming pool, friendly staff, but is situated just out of town leaving town towards Karon beach, after the right turn, a 14 story high rise.
