Guest
stump_dog- i have the same symptons but they are permanent since i live here- the one very discouraging fact is that bkk's air polution can only get worse- while many major north american cities have been able to reverse poor air quality, there are no concrete efforts in the big mango to do the same- as often is the case with thai politics, nobody can step forward and make the hard choices needed to improve the air quality here- for those of you that don't suffer the short term effects of miserable days due to allergies, you are not exempt- the long term inhalation of this air cannot possibly have any beneficial effects- i'm not going to move- will just have to suffer and hope i can get a better medication
New Petchburi Pete
I believe the poor air quality definitely produces some lung congestion and what friends refer to as the "Bangkok cough." Personally, I have found that eating very spicy foods (on a daily basis) tends to stimulate the production of secretions in the lungs, which seems to help me clear the congestion.
