However, IMO, that person has probably been like that all her/his life. I also met a few Thai women who became religious (or just aware of the uncertainties of life) and become kind. It sounds almost impossible to tell how a person is, that is why perhaps some of us must risk certain things to find out, be it money or love, eh? Is it her age or her age in relation to your age that defines her as being an "older woman"?
