I found out the points split for everyone's general info.

 

70% goes on your general status: job, salary, correct paperwork, tax returns, wife & kids, length of time in Thailand etc

 

30% relates to language in some way: 10% on a general simple interview to review your paperwork; 10% on the multiple choice test; 10% on the video presentation.

Thanks for the info on the points system. Now I'm curious to know my score and how it rates compared to the other applicants.

 

Note, that while "reviewing the paperwork" (a summary typed up by the immigration officer) it is advisable to have a fluent Thai reader with you, preferably someone who knows your history. My wife filled this role.
