chuckwoww
The reaction does seem kind of muted. So how widespread is the ruling? Is it being enforced? I'm not in LOS at the moment.
liquidflux
I don't see this one lasting long. Way too much money to be lost on all sides.
..
Well, the sales in stores bit has been on for several months now, with "respectable" stores enforcing it and traditional scofflaws not. The bit about restaraunts not serving is new, although I have heard very isolated reports (1-2) about people being denied in restaraunts over the past few months. But then again, it will prolly pass away quietly. Remember a couple of months ago that taxis were only supposed to stop at taxi queues on Sukhumvit from 15 Oct onward. Well, has anyone actually even seen one of these official queues? TIT Regards, SD
thalenoi
Serousely, is there any country in the world where it is worse than Thailand issuing stupid rules? Saoudi Arabia perhaps and ? Where would LOS stand on the "100 countries most stupid rulings" list?
