MadStockBroker
Anyone have a Vespa or know where in Thailand I can buy one? Preferably a reconditioned one in good condition etc. THanks, MSB
limbo
Did you try googling Vespa Thailand? I know you can get them in BKK, even Mod style done up ones. Here in Samui there's a scooter club and they look straight out of Quadrophenia.
Straycat
If I remember correctly there is a specialized shop selling reconditioned Vespas at the following location. Go East on Petchburi Rd. After you've gone under the elevated expressway, just before the "Nana exit", it's on your left side. However, my memory could be playing tricks with me. In any case there is one on Petchburi Rd -- though maybe further up eastbound!?

MadStockBroker
Thanks for the replies. Yeah they look cool and very easy to maintain. Also the gf likes them so she can nip to the shop etc... limbo said:Did you try googling Vespa Thailand? Yeah I did...but not much luck. A few links but most were dead. Apparently Chaing Mai is the place to go but I wanted to do some field research first just to get a better understanding of prices etc. I got Stickman to ask in his column see if that yields anything. Fatbastard
MSB, There are shops as one poster said behind MBK and there is a saturday night market that specialises in transport things, bikes, parts and other shit. Otherwise try some of the weboards. www.thaiscooter.com or this one for buy sell www.mocyc.com Lots of bikes advertised there. I have seen them around for sale and as they are trendy, but they are expensive for what they are. I can quiz my guys and give you a better idea of where to go if you need.
