The_Munchmaster
Who / where are the good Hi-Fi and Home Theatre equipment dealers. Not one brand dealers, but shops that have a range of good equipment, speakers, cables, etc. The serious ones where the staff know what they are talking about, i.e., not Power Mall in The Emporium or places like that. redwood13
There are a few shops in Amarin Plaza. And, across from the Central World Plaza/World Trade Centre is a Big C and back behind that is a building called the HiFi Centre. Also, buy a copy of the monthly Thai publication "What Hi-Fi?" and look through that for products that may be of interest and then get a Thai friend to translate the addresses of shops and pay them a visit. Well, no, call first and find out if they actually have the product you're interested in, as all too frequently they don't have it in stock, haven't had it in stock and never will have it in stock, despite the adverts that might lead you to think otherwise. :: Chances are pretty good that you know more about the products than the staff at most shops. But try Audio Excellence at Amarin Plaza for a start. -redwood
The_Munchmaster
Thanks for that Rewood. Is the "What Hi-Fi" you refer to a Thai translation / version of the UK mag What Hi-Fi Sound & Vision or is it an original Thai mag?

No, it's a Thai original and I only mentioned it as a kind of "directory" for possible product names, names of dealers and their addresses. Mekong
The probelm I found with a good top of the range systems was that by the time I could afford something so good my hearing was so bad that it wasn't worth it
