Out Christmas shopping with my wife today (hate shopping at the best of times...add 40c heat and the hoard of Christmas shoppers and i am going to have a fun filled day :doah::xmassmile

as well we had our 12 month old niece to push around the hell hole shopping malls....have not pushed a child up onto an escalator for some time so this was good :p

Walked past a shop that just sells knives ...pulled her away before we got to close.....then she told me if we buy a knife for someone *they* have to give us 1 Thb?

Why is this..anyone know?

Christmas i just love it ..... :xmascheer

Not necessary Thai, same same in Poland and Russia.

OR giving a purse or a handbad, needs to have a coin inside as cannot be empty.
