Ranger
KD, Pretty sure the Amari Boulevard is not guest friendly. Probably a nice hotel and great location however. You could always try the Ruamchitt and then you can leave your room and be in termaie in less than 3 minutes !!!!! Ranger

simie
Ranger, i think how guest friendly they are depends on what rate you pay. I friend stayed there recently paying the walk in rate and had no problems whatso ever with guests. But i would suspect if you got a very cheap rate as part of a flight/hotel package they might try to stiff you with a joiner fee? Simie.
..
The Amari chain is notoriously guest unfriendly no matter what rate you pay. Nothing to do with joiner fees, they generally "discourage" you from bringing guests in at all. You friend was lucky or very discrete, IMHO. simie
Suadum, my mate was probably lucky then as he's rarely discrete in regard to those sort of matters! Simie.
paul101
The city lodge hotels are part of the amari chain but appear to be GF if booking a double, the others are very anti joiners
