Lollipop - Mostly Ladyboys and a few average girls Playskool - A couple of cute girls but nothing special Rainbow 3 - Pretty poor selection Voodoo - Lots of girls, a few pretty ones but left pretty quickly after one of the dancers poked my friend in the eye by accident Carousel - Shit Rainbow 4 - By far the best bar. Lots of girls, quite a few of them pretty and good fun to be around. Busy inside with good music and atmosphere Nana Disco - 400 bht to get in! (1 free drink). I'm sure 2 weeks ago it was 200 bht. Still very busy inside and saw a few old 'friends' which was nice. Overall a good night out but the quality of girls seems to have decreased dramatically. If anything I think it has improved since there are more Gogo's and girls and the same percentage of them are hot looking. Take a second look at Carousel and think twice about Rainbow4. Most of those little spinners in Rainbow4 and all the other Rainbow bars tend to be Japanese specialists or ask stupid prices. And the girl my friend took from there stole 6000 baht from him so I would say it's not a cheap place ::. I can only confirm what so many people have been telling lately. If you're after bar girls why even bother to spend one night in Bangkok. Go straight to Pattaya, the girls are a lot prettier, cheaper, better attitudes...In the past I thought the Bangkok gogo bars are the best but nowadays Pattaya wins hands down in any aspect. I didn't like any Nana gogo bar I visited. I cannot understand what people see in Rainbow 4. There are better looking girls in almost any gogo bar in Walking Street, Rainbow girls prefer Japanese and want absolutely crazy sums of money for their services Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But in the case of the Rainbow 4 girls, it could be the "2,3,4 Rule-" two minutes, three inches, four thousand baht. At least there's one constant in regard to Japanese customers. I still prefer Bangkok but that is overall and not just about the bars. In Bangkok i would say IMHO that most of NEP is pretty crap now and Cowboy and Patpong are far better and cheaper. Like you i also don't understand all the hype about Rainbow 4? Did'nt think it anything special when i've been in. I visit Bangkok mostly because I have thai friends there and nonp4p nightlife is great as long as you accept that the bars close early. But I don't usually barfine any girls there anymore because my experiences with Pattaya and Koh Samui girls have been so much better and the cost is half what it is in Bangkok. You've got to be kidding me. This makes the most expensive gogo's charging 125 baht for a drink seem like a 3 for 1 happy hour paradise. I will gladly stay clear of this place. If true, and I don't know anyone who has been there well past 2 am, it could explain the high entry charge: it's one of the few discos (there is another) open past 2 am near NEP.
