samak
another suitable park for running/jogging is Benjakitty Park between Sukhumvit/Asoke intersection and Queen Sirikit Convention Center. the park is around a large lake, one round is 1.5 km; there is also a track for bicycle and skating and you can rent bicycles and boats for the lake. i started recently to run there regularly when i am in town. limbo
Electronic malls I don't know Asiafun, but IT malls are in Panthip and Fortune Tower. Further more, I also enjoy going to the movies, a massage and sightseeing if I have time. A must see is at Siriraj hospital the Museum of the Department of Forensic Medicine. There are more medical musuems on the premises but this must be one of the ebst in its' kind. I also enjoyed the Underwater Seeworld in Paragon recently. Walking in Chinatown is a fave. Lots of things to see.
BuffHello
asiafun said:I never made it too Lumojni during my stopover in BKK but looking at the city map it appeared to have some trails that were suited for running a but of a distance...any confirmation on that? in the eveings there are a load of runners doing the circuit ,they all go one way .100s of them sweating like mad in the heat . some old timers can barely move round ,very slow runners. there is also a weighlifting area if you want to join up .
