While in Malaysia and Sillypoire they run the business like most other cuntries they are in, for a long time in Bangkok they would only sell to companies! Now I have finally got a Malaysian sales person on email at least by using the online web support page. She has asked their Thai counterpart to respond. No email from him yet since 5 days! cavanami Posted January 30, 2006 Report Share Posted January 30, 2006 Dell is for crap in SE Asia! They have their only service center in Penang, Malaysia. Nothing in Thailand. If you need a PC repaired, there is a shop in Pan Tip that services the Dell PCs and maybe Compaq. With the service and support aspect in mind, I would not buy any Dell product in SE Asia, IMO. After 6 days got an email repsonse from their Thai rep saying the items I wanted had to be bought through their Singapore or Malaysian web sites and only suported in those countries... bye bye Dell!
