Where to get a good plate of vegetables?

My thai karaoke sucks.

 

I usually eat at least 5 plates of fried vegetables a week.

Here in Pattaya, Carrefour seems to have the best selection of fresh vegetables although perhaps a bit more expensive than Lotus, but the quality is good. Note: the greenbeans suck like everywhere else; however, they do have snap peas, etc. There's plenty of veggies we see in the States (even real celery) as well as most of the Thai vegetables. My wife frequently prepares veggies for me and our son without chilli but with garlic and some oyster sauce. When she cooks her Isaan and mainstream Thai veggies with chilli I enjoy those dishes as well.

 

Some of the local Thai markets have decent vegetables (and fruits) very affordably priced. Seek and ye shall find.
