cagedsoidog
Accidents. Yes, true. But I have seen automobile accidents and I have seen motocycle accidents. Is one safer than the other? Well, I guess the automobile is safer. But then is a tuk-tuk any worse than a motobike?

If that's true, there's no point of carrying this further. If I lived in Pattaya, I would buy one to run around. It seems a hell of a lot safer than a motorcycle. Especially if you get hit from behind. You could set up a seat belt to hold you in place. They are extremely manouverable, have space for carrying things and people and fuel efficient. They could be customized to go anywhere you want, I'm sure. Drive it around the world.
whosyourdaddy
Most families would buy a golf cart in preference to a tuk tuk in the family compound.

But a golf cart has 4 wheels. For the 3 wheel effect, you could import an old Reliant Robin from the UK and then for the Tuk Tuk effect, remove all the doors. cagedsoidog
Cetainly you jest. The Reliant is a collecter vehicle and garners large quid in the antique market. And even if one obtains one in Thailand, who would repair a Reliant? And where would they get the parts?
