Mentors
my girlfriend is a painter and yes it's cheaper in Thailand as in Europe (-20%). You get also Van Gogh and other brand marks. best way to look at is in stationery stores. (You can find it also in bigger book shops, costs more) If you need line walls (don't know the exactly name in English) you can find them with very cheap prices in all cloth shops. SiLeakHunt
I misread the title of the post and thought it said acrylic pants, you'd be sweating your knackers off in them. cheers

jitagawn
Go to the stores in the area near Thamasaat(Tah pra cham) or the area of stores near Tah Chang off the river-also the best art supply store or one of the best is in the student supply store at Silapakorn...I am a professional painter (jitagawn/ get it?)artist etc etc with another solo show coming up in BKK this winter. Quality supplies in BKK are very tough to find . One cant evemn buy stretchers most of us import everything...Sets of acrylics are also available in Central or the dept stores. etc etc
..
Ya know, I never did get that. Cool. But I would pronounce ¨ÔµÃ¡Ã with the 'r' sound -- jit-ra-gawn... Good luck with your show. Cheers, SD
OCgringo
When I was looking for my pin striping brushes (never found them) the biggest art store suppy was the top floor of Cental , not sure if there is more than one Central but its the one between Nana and MBK.... I think it was the 9th floor where the food court is OC
