dean
The only beer that I know of that advertises a "draught beer in cans" is guiness, which puts a widget in the can that dispenses Carbon dioxide, which creates the famous guiness head when poured. Julian2
It's available in big bottles now. Uh ... how can you have draught beer in bottles??? It's not only in Thailand, I've seen draught beer in cans and bottles world wide, West End Draught in bottles is my Aussie tipple. My brief experience working at a brewery in the seventies showed that they all make a number of lines that have a slightly different recipe. If the beer that goes into kegs for pubs etc is bottled, they call it draught.
..
Speaking of rat piss (see Beer Cooler thread), there was a vile liquid called "Miller Genuine Draft" on sale the last time I went to the States. So not only Thailand and Oz. Cheers, SD PS -- But as an engineer geek I do like the nitrogen widget thingy in Guinness cans -- Brilliant!
BKKanalist
SD You would LOVE Japan. There is - or at least used to be - a little sake can with a self heater on it. Can't recall how it worked as the wife always did it but you would pull on something on the can and it would heat to the exact, correct, precise temperature. elef
I tasted that Chang Draught a few days ago - not so far away from the real Chang, but why buy it 1. price is 57 baht and 35 for the real 2. the draught just contains 5.0 % alcohol and 6.5 for the real
