DocThai
Just saw Snakes on a Plane... silly movie but quite fun... it had two great lines in it.. samuel jackson learns that the snakes have been given some pheremones to make them aggressive and says.. "Great.. just what i need.. snakes on crack" The second line was even better but i was the only one in the theater who laughed. The pilot learns the snakes are shorting out the electrical equipment and he says... "If they short it out this plane is going down faster than a Thai hooker"

dean
It just got an enthusastic endorsement by Joel Segal of "Good Morning America." As a campy movie, it delivers.
..
Apparantly, this is turning into a cult movie ala Rock Horror Picture Show. There is a "script" to follow when seeing it: http://snakeplay.pbwiki.com/script Some theatre in Austin Texas is showing it 24 hours straight: http://www.dumbdistraction.com/Reviews/snakesonaday.html Go figure. gene1944
Found it entertaining and some great lines buried in the dialogue that most of the Thai audience didn't react to. However I saw many people literally jump out of their seats when a few shock scenes were shown. Entertaining film if you don't expect too much. Cheers, SD OK, the only way to see this is as complete camp. It is one of the Edsels of film. IMDB has something about the concept coming out of a group of people bullshitting about what would be the WORST premise for a film. Anybody else up for scattering throughout a theater here in BKK this weekend and doing the script? What a total blast to toss a few rubber snakes on people! "Gimmee an "S", Gimmee another "S", Gimmee another "S", what's that spell? Ssssss". Brilliant! The last time I yelled at a movie was during a midnight showing of a John Holmes triple X 3D porn flic. Sold out show to all the yuppies in town.
Flashermac
Rattlers freed in "Snakes on a Plane" theater prank 22 Aug 22 2006 PHOENIX (Reuters) - Life imitating art is all very well. Unless, that is, it's a movie about deadly snakes on the rampage. Movie chain AMC Entertainment Inc. said pranksters at one of its Phoenix theaters released two live diamondback rattlesnakes during a showing of the film "Snakes on a Plane" last Friday. No one was injured. AMC spokeswoman Melanie Bell said, "One was found in the parking lot during the show, and the other in the movie theater. They were both removed, and no one was harmed." The snakes were later released in the desert. Bell had no further details. The movie stars Samuel L. Jackson, and spins a yarn about a crate-load of escaped snakes that run amok on an airline flight, attacking passengers and crew. "There were kids at the show, and it was actually very reckless," Russ Johnson, the president of the Phoenix Herpetological Society told Reuters. "The snakes' bite carries a powerful venom that could have seriously injured someone," he added.
Palatkik
... it had two great lines in it.. Saw it expecting the worse, almost fell asleep, until perhaps the best line in the film "Enough is enough! I've had it with these motherf**kin' snakes on this motherf**kin' plane!" -Samuel L. Jackson - dumb film, but good fun!
