THE NATION Bombs kill 2, hurt 7 in deep South Two soldiers were killed and five others injured in a roadside bomb explosion yesterday. Colonel Suthisak Prasertsri, commander of Task Force 1, died instantly after a powerful roadside bomb exploded as his vehicle passed. The explosion killed soldier Pvt Phanuwat Thanya and injured five accompanying men. Police believed the bomb was detonated by mobile phone. The explosion occurred on a remote stretch of road in Tambon Banangsta. Suthisak was returning from a religious ceremony at a local Buddhist temple. I worry for my friend that goes down all of the time .He is a top cop but a really good straight,honest guy-also pretty poor...(There are a few) Heads up the royal security when the Q goes down...He lost a close friend last year- Bad down there.
