croftrobin
I tried fried monkeys brains 25 years ago - in village about 50 miles from Malaysian Border. The table we sat at had a circle in the middle. The monkeys head was inserted & duly cleavered open and its brains fried with garlic etc in a stove on the table. I doubt that this is still available though- theres not the same numner of monkeys and trees any more. The brains were very tasty...

Guest
quote: Originally posted by samak: there is a new spanish restaurant at suk soi 24 It's called La Rioja for those interested,Quite nice and pricey(at least a1000/person for a 3 course without wine). Small choice in the menu though and there wasn't any paella when I ate there They have a risotto vaguely similar to paella but with only seafood inside in La Pianetta,WTC 6th floor. Not bad and around 370+ for 2(could be 3 actually, especially if U're taking thai girls out. Well Samak I was actually kidding but more info about paella welcome
Guest
Two strange restaurants called MacDonald?s and KFC serve the weirdest food I have seen offered in Thailand . Sorry, never dared to enter them to try the food.
