For example we had to take Jing-Joe to the dentist, obviously she spoke about this impending trip at school and comes the day we go to the dentist she starts to ask about the â??Santa Dentistâ?Â. The WHAT, â??The Santa Dentist Daddy, he give you money for your toothâ? Ahh â?? you mean the tooth fairy. NO â?? THE SANTA DENTIST OK!!!! Err, ok. Today for example, Halloween, which we donâ??t celebrate in Australia, but her school does, so this morning she announces â??Happy Santa Halloween Mummy and Daddyâ? And to you little darling So a few weekends back when we went to the Pulo Falls at Hua Hin, she got board in the car, and sat in the front with me. We passed some very cute cottages at the beginning of the national forest, which the wife wanted to know about. Immediately Jing-Joe, who hates her itinerary to change, said â??NO STOP, KEEP GOINGâ? Trying to keep both women happy I said, â??But those are the dwarfâ??s houses who used to live with Snow Whiteâ? â??Wolves Housesâ? she replies. HUH? â??Wolves houses, Snow White lived with 7 wolvesâ? Did they wear sheepâ??s clothing I ask, â??No daddy, just fur, itâ??s cold in the forestâ? Err ok, â??so Snow White lives with 7 wolves?â? No Daddy, she used to live with them, but then she married Prince Charming and I donâ??t know where they live now. Ahhh â?? OK â?? I know this one, Prince Charming lives on the Gold Coast in Queensland. â??Really? Can we go thereâ? Of course we can. â??What he do?â? He works in a Casino there, Conrad Casino. â??What Languages does he speak?â? Errr â?? English, with a little Japanese â??Snow White speaks French and English and Chinese and Japaneseâ? my daughter proudly announces. Then adds â??Do the wolves go to the casino?â? Err no, wolves arenâ??t allowed into Australia they may have diseases that hurt kangaroos. â??Wolves eat Kangaroos?â? No â?? they just might give the Kangaroos or wombats a cold or something like that, so theyâ??re not allowed. Changing the subject she announces â??Snow White wears a bikini, she very naughty girlâ? Well, what to expect from someone who lived with 7 wolves in Hua Hin? I always remember Garp's little boy in John Irving's novel "The World According to Garp" trying to look under the water at the beach for a giant frog after being told he couldn't swim beacause the "under-toad" was too strong.
