'Taleban law' passed in Pakistan

Pakistan's North West Frontier Province (NWFP) has passed a bill setting up a Taleban-style department under a cleric to enforce Islamic morality.

NWFP is just up the road from me, many of my friends are from there. This law is really only codifying existing practices. Makes little difference really.

 

However, there is a continuing trend towards Islamization, even among the middle class.

well that post has gotten NW Pakistan back onto my prospective vacation spots.

The menus in Amsterdam are loaded with treats from that region .. Hindu Kush et al.

 

+ 'veiled BGs' will make the premium paid for lookers not applicable..
