PP Posted November 15, 2006 Report Share Posted November 15, 2006 If you're looking for nightlife as in regular bars, discos etc. then pretty good and the locals are friendly and willing to converse in English IF they are able. If you're talking about P4P nightlife then pretty dire unless you're Korean, or look Korean and speak the lingo. Farangs ususally hang out on Hooker Hill in Itaewon. Try Candy in Rosy bar for good 3 way service! It's expensive too mind, $50 for BBBJ, $100 for pussy sex and $150 for all 3 holes. If you have any Korean associates with whom you are doing business, you might get taken out to a mid- to up-scale karaoke club (a danlanjujum, or "room salon"), where drinks and snacks and "song time" with hostesses could run $200 to $400 per person. Afterwards, if the club is "that type of club," you can visit a motel with the hostess you think has the "mostess" for a one-shot encounter (more, if she likes you), for $300 to $500 and up (not including what you pay for the room). You could also hang out at a bar at the Hyatt in Itaewon (such as J.J. Mahoney's). I've heard that freelancers work there, nice looking girls, and charge as much as they think they can get ($400 as a ballpark figure, but easily higher). If you have Korean associates to escort you, you could visit one of the well-known but "oh, let's pretend it's not here" prostitution zones (note: these places tend to discriminate against non-Koreans, so if you go unescorted you're almost guaranteed to be turned away, and even if you are escorted there by a Korean, your chance of getting served is 50/50). Its about $80 for 15 minutes of intercourse (with possible covered BJ); the cost goes up if you spend more time, and you get only one shot (assuming you can make it before the madam comes knocking on the door to inform you that your time's up). Last but not least: find a good Korean-style soapy place. The Korean word for this kind of place is anma, and they're everywhere in Seoul and most other major Korean cities. Prices average $200 for a non-Korean, $10 more if you pay by credit card, and it's full service, though how affectionate your girl is will vary quite a bit--you get what you pay for, generally. The pricier venues in the Gangnam district of Seoul have the best-looking girls and offer the best service. Again, if you're in touch with Korean associates, tell them you want to go to a good anma in Gangnam, and get ready to pony up $200 to $400 for your fun. In my view, the P4P scene in Itaewon is very poor. Hooker Hill is a nightmare freakshow with crusty hags and dried-up beauties, where credit card fraud is not uncommon; some like the area, though most don't. The Apgujeong area has nice bars and pretty women, it is the "Rodeo Drive" of Seoul, nice cars and beautiful girls. Most Koreans in the entertainment areas will speak some english. If you don't "hangumal" (speak Korean)then Itaewon is the place to go, there are some western stlye good bars...3 Alley Pub (great reading material above the pisser), Seoul Pub, Gecko's and Helio's are some of the more popular. Then there are the "Wine Bars"...Onyva, S2 and Ginger Bar have nice looking college girls working as hostess; however they also charge $20 for lady drinks. As for P4P...Expensive! Mahoney's, as in adventurous Korean girls. This was several years ago and, true or not, I don't know. But it had me kicking my own butt after hearing that, considering I was staying at the Grand Hyatt and spending my nights down the hill in Itaewon, which is a true shithole.
