Actually before the last race in Brazil all three can earn in, After the last race it would have been earned by one of them and the other two will be out of it. Double Grazie! Mentors
Maybe Alonso and Hamilton will eliminate togheter in a fight in the first curve and then Fast Kimi can take the title

trooper
Maybe Alonso and Hamilton will eliminate togheter in a fight in the first curve Or even better during the race in some desperate overtake attempt as Alonso sure will try everything he can to beat Hamilton . Still have some hope to get the title to Finland, it's been a while since Häkkinen's retirement.
Neo
Consider the likely scenario...at the closing stages of the race Alonso is just in front or just behind Hamilton. In either case Alonso will lose and Hamilton will get the glory. How tempting is it going to be for Alonso to "touch" to deny Hamilton the crown? So what if they warn Alonso ahead of time the reprimand is to erase his points? He won't care being 2nd to Hamilton and thinks he was robbed anyway. What if they threaten to ban him next year? He won't care since looks like next year his only option is a seat that won't be a contender. Conditions look ripe to witness the greatest punt in F1 history. Flashermac
Something very peculiar went on in Shanghai. Alonso had said he need a retirement by Hamilton to stand a chance for the championship. The promoters were concerned that a win by Hamilton would make the final race not very meanigful. So what happens? Hamilton is clearly leading, but McLaren leaves him out even when anyone could see he was having problems and slowing down. That's when he was finally passed. When he is called in, with his tyres totally fahked, he slides into the gravel a few feet off the track. The marshals farted around and hardly even tried to push him back onto the track, which would have been perfectly legal in the position he was in. So why didn't they? If the marshals had shoved him back onto the track, he could have made it to the pit, got new tyres and been back in the race. Is somebody trying to make sure that Hamilton loses and someone else - say Alonso - wins? Or was it simply meant to keep the title up for grabs until the final race? Things sure look suspicious. Where's Fidel when we need him?
Neo
It's an easy call in hindsight, but remember the conditions were constantly changing and you didn't know one lap to the next which tires would be the dog and which would shine. Also remember the other front runners were on the exact same tire as Hamilton. Why risk going in early and getting on a different strategy & possibly different tire possibly being the odd man out caught with his pants down? The root problem is Hamilton seemed to have failed to temper his tires properly and they fell apart. Thank goodness for that since the whole time up to that moment the announcers were babbling on about him now being the new rain master in addition to the greatest dry weather racer. Last, if Bernie had his choice between assuring a British world champion versus making one last exciting race he'd take the former I would think. And hey crashes like this happen. Coulthard has the dubious distinction of wrecking in the pit lane in *dry* conditions!!! Check this Video. And the legality of pushing Hamilton...well was he in a dangerous position as that's the rule? The pitlane entrance seems a little iffy to me as it's straight, single file, and cars are slowing down there. He was solidly beached which fortunately prevents that controversy. The chassis was on rock and the wheels were spinning freely. I don't know how feasible it is to push a car out of such a predicament, but the marshalls sure tried. Lots of them were there very quickly and all of them were trying for quite some time in vain. They just didn't want to give up and you could see that. I seriously doubt you would have seen anything like that had any other driver beached there.
Mentors
And the legality of pushing Hamilton...well was he in a dangerous position as that's the rule? same happens some races ago, it's more as questionable to do that. Why they didn't help other drivers at same time in same situation?
Mentors
Williams driver Alexander Wurz has confirmed that he is to retire from Formula One racing with immediate effect. The team will announce his replacement for the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix on Tuesday. In such a hard fought environment as Formula One, I have always maintained that if you have a momentâ??s doubt about what you are doing, then it is time to stop,â? continued Wurz. â??Privately I began to have these thoughts earlier this year and so have decided that now is the time to make my announcement http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2007/10/6960.html
