YimSiam
India. All they need is, to write in the visa the places they are going is "Bodhagaya" the birth place of Lord Buddha. Two of TG's came to India and they got a 6 months tourist visa. Fill the application, deposit and collect the passport next day. The other countries are ASEAN countries as Thai is also a memeber of ASEAN, they get what is called as social visit visa. Cheers Vinod Not so - Buddha was born here in Nepal, in Lumpini. (He left as a young man, and gained enlightenment at Bodhgaya). TGs and nationals of every other country in the world with the exception of Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine and Nigeria get tourist visas on arrival, no hassle. Lots of tourists here from Thailand and other Buddhist countries to visit Lumpini, though the numbers fell off quite a bit during the Maoist insurgency (which ended day before yesterday, cheers to that!). Every once in a while I see a farang with a Thai girl in tow here, perhaps a change of pace from the usual visa run? YimSiam
rickfarang
So, how about Hong Kong? How difficult would that be?
ThaiHome
No visa required for HK. If traveling alone or with other young women, will get hassled some, but like Singapore, they will let them in for either 14 or 30 days, depending on the mood of the officer. If with you, they will get 30 days. TH
OCgringo
Probably any of the 90 day Thai entry visa exempt countries. Happy travels! 90 DAYS 1. Argentina 2. Brazil 3. Chile 4. Republic of Korea 5. Peru as far as the South american countries if the flight stops in the USA you will need a visa OC remember America is saving democracy for you too ! Steve
What 'western' countries are easiest. I would include Japan as well. Europe and north America primarily though.
