I saw a lot of high ranking officials inspecting a crack on the news the other day. Very diligent ppl. ChristianTroy Posted February 11, 2007 Report Share Posted February 11, 2007 Usually the wider cracks appear when the entire areal which is surrounding the runway shows some minor surface cracks as well! There is a myth that says that some cracks are smaller when they has been only used by asian airliners, but I find that somehow racist and actually don't know if it is true! The really good airports have a secondary runway which usually has a smaller crack but it is also where they keep the garbage and it might not smell too good!
