SiLeakHunt
I'm due up and off away to get myself a 60 day tourist that I can turn into 90 when I need to. Can anybody recommend an agreeable neighbouring country whose Thai Consulate will issue this and it's worth staying for a while. A friend of mine wants to go to Penang but I've been to Malaysia before and it was shite. Does anybody fancy coming along for the ride as well ? Palatkik
KL, Penang, Sawannakhet, Vientiane & Singapore the closest? Heard Yangon, Panhom Phen, Manila refuse repeaters and Hanoi wants onward air tickets?
Guest lazyphil
i went to penang and PP for my 6 month visas, i liked both, as far as i remember both were reliable thai consulates......
Julian2
Fly up to Chiang Rai, spend a few days and get the bus to Mae Sai. Walk into Burma for a few hours, all fixed.
cavanami
Jack Golf to Laos. 60 day visa, easy. A little expensive (7,000 Baht) but a done deal. Buddy of mine just got back from his visa run to Laos.

He is looking to get a tourist visa, not a 30 day visa exempt stamp. TH

cardinalblue
Actually if he had his 60 day visa and it was up, he can get 30 day extension at city immigration... If he has a second visa entry on his visa, then he could activate at the border (any thai border) but this is not an extension.. If he doesn't, then all he would get would be the 30 day exemption at the burma border since this is not a thai immigration office for an extension or otherwise....
